Stone-wool TechnoNICOL

The TECHNO heat-insulation is nonflammable waterproofing heat- and sound-insulating slabs made of mineral cotton based on basalt rock materials containing bonder with decreased phenol content. The TECHNO materials are very durable, energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly, and completely nonflammable.

Areas of application:

TECHNO is widely used as heat and sound insulation for various engineering structures in both residential buildings and industrial structures.

  • TECHNOLITE is heat and sound insulation for engineering structures in both residential buildings and industrial structures, where the heater is not loaded from the outside (mansards, garret floors, floors with heater packing between logs, frame partitions), and also as the first (internal) heat-insulation layer in the front systems with an air gap for two-layer thermal insulation;
  • TECHNOFAS is heat and sound insulation for use in the external heating systems of walls with a protectively-decorative layer made of thin coating plastering in civil and industrial buildings;
  • TECHNOROOF N is used as the bottom layer for two-layer heat insulation in coverings made of reinforced concrete or metal profile-shaped flooring. It is recommended that it be used together with the TECHNOROOF V slabs.
  • TECHNOROOF V is used as the upper heat-insulation layer in roof coverings made of reinforced-concrete or metal profile-shaped flooring. The roofing cladding is installed without an additional protective coupler.

Installation:

A pitched roof: it is installed freely between ceiling rafters at a thrust.

A flat roof: as a rule, TECHNOROOF N + TECHNOROOF V are installed as two layers and fastened mechanically to a foundation using special telescopic hardware. When applying two heat insulation layers, or more, there should be broken joints between the slabs. The joints between heater slabs of more than 5 mm should be filled with a heat insulating material.

Floors: the material is used only for non-loaded structures of floors built over joists. The heater is installed freely between the joists.

Facades: the applied TECHNOFAS material forms a part of the façade insulation system with a skimming plaster coat. The installation is performed in strict compliance with the plastered facade system selected. The material is attached to the wall by use of façade dowels.
