Description:

These are roofing and waterproof fibers intended for the installation of single-layer roof cladding.

The materials are produced by two-sided placement of mineral filler (talc, dolomite and others) and fire-retardants on a reinforced polyester foundation with bitumen-polymer cement, which is composed of bitumen, a SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) polymer modifier.

A coarse-grained dressing compound (slate, aluminum-added slate or basalt) can be used on the top as a protective layer. A protective film or a nonwoven fiber is attached on the bottom surface.

Areas of application:

The materials are intended for the installation of a qualitative bitumen-polymer single-layered roof cladding only.

This makes installation easier and cuts installation time by far, since it is installed in a single-layered form. This is particularly important for a large roof. An excellent roof waterproofing is provided by a perfect material thickness of 5.2 to 5.5 mm. Waterproof reliability of roof cladding is provided by an enhanced breadth of longitudinal overlappings of up to 120 mm. The wide range of colors available for dressing the compound surfacing the material accounts for meeting any requirements as for the material color.

One-layer roof cladding is cost-saving, fast and easily installed! Automatic welding equipment can be used while installing, too.

Installation method:

Mechanical installation: the materials can be fastened to a foundation by use of telescopic hardware. The hardware is installed in an overlapping manner, the overlappings being further melted together by use of a gas burner or a hot-air welder. Telescopic hardware is applied as fixtures for installation of the materials on rigid mineral cotton. The fixture is to be inserted into a cement-sandy coupler, or into a concrete or metal bearing foundation.

Welding-on: the materials can also be welded on a prepared foundation by use of a gas burner in a traditional way.
